Eternal Glow

I've seen a blazing trail of light;
The beam that streaks through silent skies
Has lit the darkness in my soul
And brought me to my knees.

How beautifully His love can shine
All through a long and lonely night,
Providing me a peaceful glow;
With comfort I'm at ease.

Oh, how His brilliant spark of love
Released me from all pain and strife,
As lucent coals that last throughout,
Eternally I'm free.

Where the spirit of the Lord is,
Transcendent truth from God above,
There can be no suffering doubt ...
He died for you and me.
